How do leaders become great? What makes others follow them, or even die for them? On what premise or principles do they make decisions, especially in critical situations? And what does it take for them to lead their people to win a war or cause worth fighting for? In our first Movie Night, Dwelling takes a new spin on our usual Philosophy Sessions where we will explore leadership themes through characters, plots, and principles that can be found in a movie.

We will be screening Gladiator, which won 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Join us, as we look into how Maximus went from a celebrated General who led the great Roman army to becoming a Gladiator fighting for his life and his team of fighters, all the while being an influential leader from start to finish.
